Dennie Pocsik felt led by the Lord to organize a group of ladies to help a friend with Alzheimer’s dementia. She asked the Lord for guidance, and these verses came to mind:
Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times”
1 Corinthians 13:3 “But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
Ecclesiastes 3: 1, 4, 8 “There is an appointed time for everything…a time to laugh…a time to dance…a time to love…”
Dennie prays that her work with Lady-Links will cause others to think about the important links in their life and what those connections mean. For Dennie, her faith in Jesus Christ is her most important link to everything else in her life and adds meaning to the word “love.” Dennie’s basis for that is John 3:16 “For God so LOVED the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Linking to God’s love and accepting His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is a connection that will last for eternity.
